Job Description

Touchlight is a pioneering biotechnology company that is revolutionizing the field of genetic medicine. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team and contribute to our mission of making DNA manufacturing simple and accessible.


As a Project Manager at Touchlight, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing cross-functional projects to deliver high-quality results. You will work closely with our business teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Developing and managing project budgets and resource allocation
  • Managing project risks and issues and devising contingency plans as necessary
  • Managing project progress and adapting work as required
  • Communicating with project team members and stakeholders
  • Presenting updates defining project progress, problems, and solutions
  • Implementing and managing project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Conducting project reviews (Lessons Learned) and creating detailed reports for relevant stakeholders
  • Managing project documentation and ensuring proper records are maintained
  • Ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures


Requirements


  • Degree level or above in Business, life sciences, or related field
  • At least three (3) years of project management experience
  • Working knowledge of project management tools (e.g. MS project, Smartsheet) and related processes
  • Experience of working in a matrix organisation
  • PMP or Prince 2 is highly desirable
  • A highly self-motivated, flexible, and quick-thinking attitude to meeting the needs of the business
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
