Salary:

£150 - £180 Per day

Job Duties:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Psychology lessons to students
• Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
• Create a positive learning environment that fosters students' academic and personal development
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Psychology curriculum and teaching methods
• Communicate effectively with students, parents and staff members

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Degree in Psychology or related field

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching Psychology at secondary school level

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of Psychology curriculum and teaching methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students
• Organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education or Psychology
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs

Working Conditions:

The Psychology Teacher will work in a school setting, following the academic calendar. The role may require occasional extra hours for lesson planning and student assessments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
