About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Catastrophe Modelling Analyst to join our Reinsurance team at MS Amlin. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in understanding, advising, and reporting on the level of risk being written by the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive and thoughtful modelling output to key stakeholders throughout the pricing process
  • Assist with portfolio roll-up and other value-add modelling tasks, including supporting Senior Analysts in aiding underwriting decision making
  • Peer review risks modelled by Genpact, in order to support and enhance underwriters' decision making
  • Bring clarity, transparency, and understanding to stakeholders of reinsurance modelling analytics
  • Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with business partners, approaching conversations with a continuous improvement mindset
Requirements
  • Sound financial and commercial acumen
  • Risk analytics modelling experience using RMS RiskLink / RMS Risk Manager/ AIR Touchstone/ Touchstone Re
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Sound knowledge of data management and structures
  • General coding logic and coding experience in SQL, with skills in R &/or Python highly desirable
