About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Catastrophe Modelling Analyst to join our team at Syncortex. As a key member of our Catastrophe Modelling Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of underwriting data and aggregate information within catastrophe modelling and underwriting systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Enter underwriting data onto specialist catastrophe modelling and insurance software, as well as perform other reporting and compliance tasks.
  • Perform modelling for MS AISE classes, assisting with producing business-critical management reports, including Realistic Disaster Scenarios (RDS), regional monitoring reports, Capital Model inputs, Standard Formula for Catastrophe Risk, Exposure Management Framework (EMF), Exposure Submissions, and post-event reporting.
  • Provide feedback to underwriters to enable improvements in data capture and workflow, and assist with process development.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical capability and process management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, RMS RiskLink, and SQL.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to build effective relationships.
  • Ability to work without supervision, while maintaining accuracy in output.
  • Adaptability to change and ability to develop and improve procedures.
