About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team at North Yorkshire County Council. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered care and support to clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized care plans to meet client needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate care delivery, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Level 2, 3, and 5 qualifications in Social Care or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £14.00-£16.00.
  • Paid travel and mileage expenses.
  • Time and a half on bank holidays and double time on Christmas and New Year's Day.
