About the Role

Sonovision Ltd is a multi-award-winning company offering a full range of Content Engineering, Marketing and Training solutions to globally recognized companies and start-up companies alike.

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team as a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Design Specialist. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating mechanical designs in response to customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create 3D CAD Mechanical Designs of Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
  • Create 2D drawings of 3D CAD designs (manufacturing drawings)
  • Project manage in-country activity as part of a transnational project management organisation
  • Propose new design modifications to existing tools
  • Identify and track key characteristics and critical items of a design
  • Validate detailed design drawings respecting international and customer specific standards and specifications
  • Support the Project Managers in quoting
  • Support other related activities i.e.: The Query Project Leader (QPL) with technical queries related to design topics
Requirements
  • Minimum of degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5 years' experience in related field
