About the Role
Bolton Council is excited to announce a significant opportunity within our Corporate Property team, which is undergoing strategic expansion. We have developed a new organizational structure aimed at optimizing service delivery across our extensive portfolio, ensuring long-term effectiveness and support for our Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP). The Corporate Property service plays a crucial role in managing approximately 1,700 assets throughout the borough, including notable civic buildings and commercial properties that benefit the community.
The Property Services Coordinator will report directly to the Head of Corporate Property Operations. This position involves joining a dynamic team dedicated to commissioning and managing property services for internal clients and their respective service teams. You will engage in meaningful discussions with clients to ascertain their property needs, ensuring that high-quality accommodation is available to support service delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Translating client requirements to the Corporate Property group and ensuring they are addressed by relevant functional leads.
- Commissioning services from external partners and the supply chain as necessary.
- Overseeing an Operations Officer, ensuring successful delivery of client requirements.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to engage both strategically and operationally, driving results for users of the Council's property assets.
You will primarily work from Bolton's Town Hall, with opportunities for remote work to enhance flexibility. Additionally, you will occasionally visit various locations within the Council's property estate.
