Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Support Role

Job Type: Temporary

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and well-being of children in a variety of different schools across the Swindon area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the class teacher to provide support to children with their learning
  • Manage the behavior of pupils while they undertake their work and ensure a constructive and positive environment is always enforced
  • De-escalate situations within the classroom in the correct way, ensuring that safeguarding procedures are always adhered to
  • Carry out small group work and work with children with additional needs
  • Report any safeguarding concerns using the school's referral procedures and safeguarding policies
