The school adopts a therapeutic approach, focusing on building meaningful relationships to create a safe and nurturing environment for students to thrive. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing and development of students with SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Nurture and inspire students both inside and outside the classroom
  • Provide support to a small group of students or work on a 1:1 basis, depending on the need
  • Assist the Class Teacher in helping students engage in their learning
Requirements

We are looking for a positive, empathetic, and enthusiastic individual with a genuine desire to support young people. Experience or knowledge of SEMH is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will be confident in managing challenging behaviour and have a resilient approach to working with students who may have ADHD or autism.
