Job Title: Adult Care Worker

Meadowside in Deal provides overnight residential stays for individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and/or autism.

Job Summary:

We are seeking part-time Support Workers to provide a nurturing and safe environment that promotes the emotional and physical well-being of people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and supervision to individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and/or autism.
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive team to ensure the smooth running of shifts.
  • Help supervise and respond to each person to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Provide stimulating and meaningful learning experiences and activities.
  • Work a shift pattern that includes evenings, alternate weekends, and some bank holidays.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards achieving this within two years of employment.
  • Complete your Care Certificate if you do not already hold this.
  • Take personal and professional responsibility for your actions and performance.
