Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join our team at TPF Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity for a tax professional to develop their career in a dynamic and growing firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and prepare complex corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Handle enquiries from HMRC, providing timely and effective responses to resolve any issues.
  • Communicate with clients to gather additional information, ensuring seamless tax planning and compliance.
  • Identify and support tax planning opportunities, providing expert advice to clients.
  • Conduct research projects to stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations.
  • Address queries regarding tax filings and payments from HMRC, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Collaborate with Partners to provide expert advice on tax matters, including R&D tax relief, loss relief, capital allowances, and employee share schemes.
  • Support Managers and Partners with staff management, ensuring effective team performance.
Requirements
  • Previous corporate tax experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.
  • ATT / CTA / ACCA or ACA qualified or studying.
  • Experience with specific tax software is advantageous.
  • Strong corporate awareness and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and multitask workload effectively.
