Job Summary:

Invictus Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of electrical building systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on electrical building systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Maintain and repair AHU and FCU systems, as well as perform small installations and fault-finding.
  • Perform lamping, ballast replacement, control panel, and power distribution tasks.
  • Test fire alarms and perform pump maintenance, including replacement of pump shaft seals and small pumps.
  • Conduct general plumbing maintenance and service and repair closed system pressurisation units.
  • Ensure compliance with stringent safety standards and regulations to create a secure work environment.
  • Collaborate with fellow maintenance professionals to achieve operational excellence and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on electrical systems.
  • Possession of an electrical qualification such as City & Guilds, BTEC, HNC, BEng, or BSc (equivalent qualifications obtained outside of the UK should have a formal statement of compatibility issued).
  • Knowledge of relevant building systems, including BMS, UPS, lighting, alarm systems, AHUs, FCUs, etc.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
