We have a team of 450 colleagues at our Wisbech factory, working together to manufacture premium chilled ready-to-cook meals for major retailers such as Asda and Co-op.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Multi Skilled Production Associate to join our team in Wisbech. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, maintaining a safe and clean working environment, and adhering to our high standards of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and Maintaining the Work Area
  • Ensure the workplace is safe and all machinery is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Implementing and Maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Share responsibility for implementing and maintaining SOPs to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Machine Safety and Maintenance
  • Ensure all daily machine safety checks are completed in line with trained SOPs and PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) schedule.
  • Product Quality and Packaging
  • Monitor and record packs per minute (PPM) on machines while overseeing that products are not overweight/underweight.
  • Collaboration and Communication
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure that all labels, packaging, and film are on the line and ready to use in good time before the job is ready.
  • Reporting and Liaising
  • Liaise with and report any issues to the Line Leaders and engineers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Adhering to Standards
  • Adhere to 'World Class' standards at all times.
  • Requirements
    • Essential - Previous experience with SOPs and working in a previous food factory (Ideally salads)
    • Good level of English & Maths
    • Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
    • Ability to work unsupervised
