Chiller Operative - Days

We are seeking a skilled Chiller Operative to join our team in Wisbech. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our chiller lines, maintaining a safe and clean working environment, and adhering to our high standards of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain the chiller lines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Conduct daily safety checks and report any issues to the line leaders and engineers
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate and timely labeling, packaging, and film application
  • Participate in the implementation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules
  • Ensure all products meet quality and weight standards
  • Communicate effectively with the team and report any issues or concerns to the line leaders and engineers
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in a chiller section
  • Good understanding of English literacy and numeracy
  • Basic knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
