Our Vision
We have outlined a strategic vision consisting of three significant phases to lead the auction industry's transformation. We are currently in the second phase, where we are enhancing eCommerce fundamentals, including user interface improvements, search optimization, trust enhancement, and the integration of payment and shipping solutions, all aimed at maximizing bidder quality.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic leader to guide our Search, Taxonomy, and AI strategy across our marketplaces. The Head of Product for Search & AI will be responsible for defining and executing the vision and strategy for our investments in these areas, ensuring the successful delivery of our roadmap. This hybrid role will involve collaboration with teams across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Search, Taxonomy, and AI initiatives.
- Analyze market trends and identify necessary technology and skill investments to leverage AI and machine learning for enhanced customer value.
- Drive experimentation to increase bids per bidder and improve search success across multiple platforms.
- Establish goals and KPIs that align with both short-term and long-term revenue objectives.
- Foster a results-oriented, commercially driven culture within the Product team, focusing on impactful solutions.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of customer behavior, competitive landscape, and technological advancements to inform strategic decisions.
- Identify new investment opportunities and product prospects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, finance, and legal.
- Proactively address challenges and work collaboratively to resolve them.
- Lead product initiatives from conception to implementation, including strategy development and release planning.
- Encourage a culture of rapid experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop exceptional talent within the product management teams.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of business experience, with exposure to both startups and established companies.
- Extensive experience in delivering AI services, machine learning platforms, and generative AI products.
- Strong knowledge of two-sided marketplaces.
- Proven track record in leading and managing product teams.
- Ability to engage with senior executives and present data-backed insights.
- Practical experience with eCommerce and search platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize based on ROI.
