Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef Manager to join our team at Bartlett Mitchell. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall management of our kitchen operations, ensuring that we deliver exceptional food quality and service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff to achieve high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our clients and align with our company values.
  • Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular kitchen audits to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to develop new business opportunities and expand our client base.
  • Manage the kitchen budget and ensure that we operate within budgetary constraints.
  • Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff to improve their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior chef or kitchen manager in a contract catering environment.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as City & Guilds 706 1 and 2, NVQ or equivalent.
