Energy Sustainability Consultant

About the Role

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Energy Sustainability Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients reduce their carbon footprint and achieve their sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct research on the latest sustainability trends, legislations, and best practices, with opportunities for training and development in areas that need support.
  2. Utilize industry-leading software such as IES and OneClick to perform overheating strategies and Whole Life Carbon assessments.
  3. Carry out SAP and SBEM assessments for commercial and non-domestic projects, providing valuable insights to our clients.
  4. Develop and prepare comprehensive sustainability reports and communication materials, as well as liaise with clients to provide tailored sustainability strategies.

Requirements

  1. A Master's degree in a relevant field such as Energy or Sustainability.
  2. Strong knowledge and passion for the built environment industry, with a keen eye for detail and analytical skills.
  3. Experience with IES-VE software for energy modeling, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  4. A good understanding of Net-Zero Carbon and Life Cycle Assessments, with a desire to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
