About the Course

We are offering a FREE Level 1 Childcare course for individuals aged 16-18 who are looking to start a career in childcare.

This study programme is designed to provide an introduction to childcare, offering quality work experience and practical, tutor-led workshops/1:1 sessions, as well as some online learning.

A typical week consists of one study day and three days' work experience, tailored to meet individual needs.

We cater for all individual needs, providing a free DBS and work experience set up for you, local to where you live.

Our nursery, Tops Day Nurseries, is a 67-place day nursery & pre-school situated in Fawley, Southampton, offering a range of extra-curricular activities.

We believe in an environmentally sustainable and socially responsible world for all, educating children to influence future generations.

This course has fantastic success rates and progression onto Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeships.
