About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Development Specialist to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the design, delivery, and evaluation of our Support Worker Induction programme and other training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and delivery of high-quality training programmes for staff across Southern Health, with a focus on Bands 2-4.
  • Participate in the design, delivery, and evaluation of programmes associated with the Support Worker Induction and bands 2-4 training.
  • Act as a positive role model in promoting clinical excellence and supporting staff through their Care Certificate qualification.
  • Support T Level students while on placement within Southern Health and assist in the delivery of training and support packages for T Level students.

Person Specification
  • Completion of Care Certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Teaching qualification such as AET, PTTLS or equivalent.
  • Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Experience as a Support Worker, Nursing Associate/Assistant Practitioner, or similar role.
