Our Fabrication Hall

Our 24,000 square meter Fabrication Hall is a state-of-the-art facility that houses a high bay construction hall for new builds, a panel line, profile cutting, and sub-assembly areas. This is where your projects will be based, and where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our fabrication work.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for developing detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management for fabrication projects. You will also provide technical guidance and solutions to project challenges, coordinate materials, tools, and equipment, and support the Project Manager in monitoring and maintaining project progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management
  • Provide technical guidance and solutions to project challenges
  • Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment to meet project requirements
  • Support the Project Manager in monitoring and maintaining project progress
  • Identify potential bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track
  • Finalize and document all project paperwork, including arranging project wrap-up meetings

Requirements

  • Competency with MS Office and planning tools (MS Project)
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Experience in an engineering or structural engineering environment
  • Qualification at HNC/ Degree in marine or a related discipline
  • Commercial experience and knowledge of project management principles

Security Clearance

Due to the nature of our work, some roles at A&P Group are subject to security control restrictions.
