Experienced Credit Controller Wanted for Interim Role

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team on an interim basis. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring timely settlement of accounts, and working closely with our team to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Be the face of our business in liaising with clients regarding outstanding accounts
- Undertake regular visits to major clients to review outstanding balances and operational issues
- Review debtor lists and WIP via one-to-one reviews with team members and agree action plans
- Work with our practice team to ensure debt-related information is accurate and up to date
- Produce monthly Aged Debtor reports for management and control purposes
- Review workflows and identify opportunities for improvement and change in both debt collection and billing processes
- Work to achieve targets as set by our Business Manager
- Attend regular team meetings to update team members on debt situation and problem clients, advising on the most efficient billing method
- Experience in managing client relationships to ensure accounts are paid within terms
- Good understanding of business processes involved, ideally through the Lex Case Management System
- Proactive and willing to take the initiative where appropriate
- Excellent organisational skills
- Highly professional in attitude and approach to building strong client relationships
- Knowledge of the Court and Legal Systems preferably
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively and handle pressure
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the business
