We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Accountant to join our team at TPF Recruitment. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio, preparing statutory accounts, and overseeing bookkeeping and organisation of accounting records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse range of clients, providing expert accounting and tax advice.
  • Prepare and submit personal and corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee and prepare VAT returns, ensuring timely submission and minimal errors.
  • Work closely with senior management, supporting Partners with projects and contributing to the firm's growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve business objectives, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive success.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice, with a strong focus on tax and accounts.
  • Proven experience in preparing accounts and tax returns, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage, with the ability to learn new software quickly.

  • Competitive salary range of £40,000 - £50,000, dependent on experience and background.
