An exciting opportunity exists for a Financial Analyst specializing in Transfer Pricing within our Commercial Finance team.

This role is pivotal in supporting the Commercial Finance Manager for New Product Initiatives (NPI) by generating and communicating essential analyses that help the business comprehend key product cost factors and pricing financial controls.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Deliver cost and pricing information for new products across all categories produced by BAT Exports, whether through estimations when information is limited or by approving final transfer prices in accordance with product costing and transfer pricing protocols, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
  • Maintain and update master data accurately to facilitate a seamless transfer pricing process.
  • Provide cost insights and assistance in developing NPI business cases as needed.
  • Aid in monitoring and forecasting the cost of sales for the AME Region.
  • Conduct monthly analyses on established Financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Share knowledge within the team, exchanging best practices when appropriate.
  • Establish yourself as a functional expert with a comprehensive understanding of transfer pricing and the composition of our manufactured products.
  • Present clear and detailed cost analyses within the Finance community.
  • Simplify cost insights for effective communication with non-Finance stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Organized and logical thinker.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of effective communication at all levels.
  • Strong prioritization skills to meet critical deadlines.
  • Familiarity with SAP is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Progress towards CIMA/ACCA is preferred but not essential.
  • Previous experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment is desirable.
