Finance Analyst Job Description

CMA Recruitment Group is pleased to be supporting a long-term client of ours in the recruitment of a Finance Analyst. Our client is a global leader in their sector of manufacturing and is seeking a talented and motivated Finance Analyst to join their Finance team at the Hedge End location in Southampton.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Cost Management: Estimate, track, and analyze product costs, including those for new product launches.
  • Inventory Management: Reconcile inventory, report, and analyze variances, along with overseeing the annual stock take.
  • Operational Support: Provide business partnering support to the Operations function, challenge overhead costs, and drive improvements.
  • Investment Analysis: Conduct investment analysis for new products and major capital projects.
  • Financial Reporting: Manage intra-group transfer pricing, cost allocations, and complete month-end processes with detailed KPI reporting to the parent company.
  • Project Work: Engage in various analytical projects to support business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Strong data analysis and presentational skills.
  • Ability to interact cross-functionally and build strong working relationships with Operational leaders.
  • Previous experience of working in a manufacturing organization.
  • 1-3 years' experience in a management/cost accounting role/Financial Analysis role.
