Voyage Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team as a Team Lead in our residential service in Taunton. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in leading our team and providing exceptional care to our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Support Workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to service users.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of service users.
  • Conduct regular supervision and training sessions to ensure staff are equipped to provide the best possible care.
  • Monitor and report any changes in service user behavior or well-being to the Manager.
  • Collaborate with the Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the service and the achievement of business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker or in a similar role.
  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
