About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our Hair and Beauty Department team at Langley Campus. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to access the curriculum and participate fully in college life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide educational and mentoring support for students with SEN
  • Assist with teaching and learning activities in the Hair and Beauty Department
  • Work under the direction of the Curriculum Leader for Hair and Beauty to promote positive relationships and acceptable behaviour
  • Support learners with SEN to develop their skills and confidence
Requirements

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting learners with SEN and has a can-do attitude. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good organizational, administrative, and planning skills
  • A commitment to the academic and personal development of students with additional needs
  • Good communication skills and the ability to use initiative and think ahead
