About the Role
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that customers receive excellent service and that the store is run efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the team to deliver a clean, well-stocked store that exceeds customer expectations
- Be the first point of contact for customers, listening to their needs and resolving any issues
- Take ownership of running duty shifts, ensuring that the store is operating smoothly and efficiently
- Coach and develop colleagues to improve their skills and performance
- Monitor and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, ensuring that customers leave the store with a positive experience
- Work closely with the management team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business growth
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
Requirements
- Proven experience in a retail or customer-facing role
