An exciting opportunity has emerged for an Electrical Systems Engineer to become a vital part of our expanding Electrical Department. As a key contributor, you will play a significant role in developing innovative engineering solutions that address complex challenges for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing requirements documentation at various levels including vehicle, system, and component.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to deliver components or systems for projects.
  • Assisting in the assembly and troubleshooting of projects.
  • Creating system architecture diagrams and circuit schematics to support electrical design efforts.
  • Conducting hazard analysis, risk management, and DFMEA for components and systems as necessary.
  • Defining and executing system testing and validation activities for both products and test rigs.
  • Supporting both virtual and physical assembly processes for components and vehicles.
  • Preparing and presenting reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engaging in technical and project reviews with clients, representing WAE as needed.
  • Maintaining constructive relationships with clients, suppliers, and other departments.
  • Adhering to WAE, client, industry, and legislative standards.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical integration within the automotive or motorsport sectors.
  • An engineering qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., HNC, Degree, Degree Apprenticeship, Masters) or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of on-vehicle networks.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
