Role Overview
We are currently seeking a Grade 3 PMO Analyst to join our Group Functions on a permanent basis. This role is essential for supporting the governance and oversight of the Service Office, playing a pivotal part in delivering essential PMO Services that facilitate the effective execution of the Group Change Portfolio, including comprehensive reporting, tracking, and management information oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Grade 4 PMO Analyst in executing critical project and portfolio processes, ensuring a high standard of service delivery to stakeholders.
- Support the maintenance of portfolio, project, and resource data within our Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool, ensuring accurate tracking and alignment by cost centre and workstream.
- Guarantee timely and quality monthly reporting requirements are met.
- Process supplier work orders in accordance with the Legal & General approvals process, tracking monthly finances, including cost tracking and accruals. Manage purchase orders and invoices to ensure accurate project expenditure.
- Facilitate the preparation of materials for relevant meetings, capturing and tracking minutes, actions, and decisions from key forums promptly and accurately.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and share best practices when defining and optimizing processes.
We are looking for individuals who possess:
- Desirable prior experience in a PMO environment.
- Familiarity with various project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile, and their appropriate application.
- Knowledge of project management processes, tools, performance measurement, and metrics.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Experience in financial and analytical tasks.
- Excellent organizational capabilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to complete project portfolio reports accurately and on time.
- Effective and confident communication skills.
- Experience with Keyed In or equivalent PPM tools is advantageous.
