About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our Children's Commissioning team and drive commissioning-led transformation to achieve better outcomes for children and young people in Trafford.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Children's Commissioning team, overseeing commissioning activity for children and young people and their families in Trafford.
  • Collaborate with key partners, including Trafford Council Adults' commissioning team and Greater Manchester ICB, to drive commissioning-led transformation.
  • Develop and implement effective commissioning strategies to achieve value for money and high-quality services for children and young people.
  • Manage the Commissioning team budget and associated commissioned services.

About You

We are looking for someone with excellent people leadership skills, strong communication and influencing abilities, and a proven track record in commissioning and transformation. You should have a deep understanding of the needs of children and young people and be able to develop and implement effective commissioning strategies to meet those needs.
