About the Role
Everest People Solutions is currently seeking a dedicated National Commercial Coordinator for a prominent food processing organization located in Preston. In this role, you will provide essential support to the National Account Manager and the Site Head of Commercial, focusing on various administrative tasks that enhance customer relationships and optimize service reporting. The National Commercial Coordinator position is crucial for maintaining high operational standards and contributing to the ongoing success of the business. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison for our client's retail customers and their regional supply chain teams, facilitating the order processing system.
- Oversee the setup of product data for new product launches, ensuring readiness prior to initial production.
- Accurately prepare customer pricing documentation.
- Assist in organizing promotional activities for customers.
- Generate and maintain weekly order forecasts utilizing planning tools.
- Update and disseminate daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including service level performance metrics to retail clients.
- Employ reporting tools to deliver proactive insights and enhance performance.
- Prepare and coordinate product samples for retail customers.
- Assist with various requests from internal management or clients.
- Identify and explore development opportunities within the organization.
Objectives
- Improve supplier inbound performance metrics.
- Effectively communicate key performance indicator reports.
- Provide analysis and recommendations across supply chain and commercial sectors.
- Maintain and surpass on-shelf availability benchmarks.
- Achieve targets for promotional performance.
- Integrate cross-functional forecasting processes.
- Implement and incorporate value-adding initiatives and innovations within the team.
- Conduct store visits and competitor assessments, providing comprehensive reports and recommendations.
- Complete various ad-hoc projects as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable role within a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential.
- Ambitious, customer-oriented team player.
- Willingness to travel to various sites, customer offices, or retail locations; a full, clean driving license is required.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
