At OCS Group, we are seeking a Security Break Officer responsible for ensuring the safety and security of designated facilities and personnel at a dynamic client site.
Your working hours will be Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 18:00, totaling 50 hours per week on a permanent full-time basis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line support to employees and visitors, delivering a professional and courteous service.
- Monitor fire, security, and building systems.
- Manage service area barriers and traffic flow.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and in compliance with relevant legislation.
- Facilitate clear and accurate communication with Reception and the Gatehouse.
- Follow the incident escalation process and maintain logs in the SCR.
- Accurately document and submit reports to your line manager.
- Monitor operational staff to ensure adherence to assignment instructions and escalate issues as necessary.
- Conduct shift-based equipment serviceability checks and maintain accurate records.
- Restrict access to the Security Control Room and manage visitor admissions according to access protocols.
- Implement emergency procedures in line with the Incident and Emergency Plan.
- Handle all inquiries and communications professionally, prioritizing customer interests.
- Collaborate closely with other team members, including Reception, the Gatehouse, and the Security Manager.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the Security Industry is advantageous.
- SIA licence is mandatory.
- First aid at work qualification is required.
- Ideally, two years of experience in the security sector.
- A professional demeanor with sound judgment and integrity.
