About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Community Support Worker to join our established multi-disciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with individuals with mental health needs, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred support to individuals with mental health needs, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement recovery plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Provide education and training to individuals and their families on mental health awareness and recovery techniques.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision sessions to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Cavendish Care Certificate or willingness to work towards.
  • NVQ 3 in Care or equivalent.
  • NVQ 3 in Promoting Independence or equivalent or working towards achievement.
  • Training in mental health awareness or other relevant training.
