  • As an Ocean Import Clerk, you will be responsible for handling shipments from start to finish, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our clients.
  • You will complete entries using the Customs Declaration System (CDS), utilizing your expertise to navigate complex customs procedures.
  • Effective communication is key in this role, as you will be updating customers on the status of their shipments, providing them with accurate and timely information.
  • You will also be responsible for arranging collection and delivery, as well as taking bookings and handling documents such as pre-alerts, invoices, and bills of lading.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in ocean imports, with a strong understanding of customs procedures and regulations.
  • Expertise in completing entries using the CDS, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A steady work history, with a strong track record of meeting deadlines and delivering results.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm.
