Job Responsibilities

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Talking to and influencing people at all levels
  • Selling products, brands, solutions, and ideas
  • Assisting with inbound queries
  • Dealing with business-to-business sales
  • Interviewing and independently referencing
  • Managing key accounts, including rotational on-call requirements
  • Supporting tender and presentations
  • Positively profiling the business within the local community

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to absorb knowledge and learn a range of new IT systems and recruitment compliance processes
  • Confident speaking to new people on the phone
  • Some basic understanding of what a career in recruitment involves
  • Ideal experience in basic sales techniques
  • Characteristics of someone capable of building relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple workloads
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • IT literacy with basic use of Office 365
  • Comfortable building rapport and comfortable with face-to-face meetings
