Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

  1. Provide exceptional customer service by modeling DSW's customer experience standards and responding to customer requests and feedback in a timely manner.
  2. Ensure customers have a positive experience by maintaining DSW store standards and completing tasks related to daily open/close, including store cleaning, recovery, and maintenance.
  3. Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or other leader.

Inventory Management

  1. Maximize sales and success by maintaining sales floor and stockroom, enabling the flow of merchandise to ensure an appealing experience for consumers.
  2. Supervise and participate in the planning and execution of all inventory management related activities, including freight receipt, placement, markdown, and MOOS.
  3. Responsible for all omni activities in store, including Charge/Send, BOPIS/BOSTS, and Delivery.
  4. Leverage inventory reports to maximize productivity and merchandise presentation on the sales floor.
  5. Maintain supply inventory to ensure successful floor moves, markdowns, and fulfillment in areas of stockroom, cashwrap, clearance, and non-sales areas.

Human Resources

  1. Work closely with the store leadership team to understand and follow policy and procedure.
  2. Assist the Store Manager and other leaders in recruiting/interviewing candidates.
  3. Support team by training, coaching, directing associates, and communicating development feedback to the management team in an efficient manner.
  4. Provide feedback to the Store Manager on associate performance and communicate associate relations issues to Store Manager for follow-up.
  5. Support team in managing payroll and associate timekeeping activities.
  6. Must have availability to meet the needs of the business, including shifts outside traditional business hours.
  7. Proficiency in basic computer use, including Microsoft Office.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years retail experience.Minimum high school graduate or equivalent.
