Key Responsibilities:

  • Install a variety of glass in doors, ensuring a precise fit and meeting the highest standards of quality.
  • Seal joints and edges of glass using advanced materials and techniques to prevent leakage and drafts.
  • Replace damaged or broken glass as needed, maintaining the integrity of the installation.
  • Install and secure hardware fittings such as hinges, locks, and letterplates, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Inspect completed glass and hardware installations to guarantee they meet our rigorous quality standards.
  • Apply touch-up paint as required after glazing and hardware fitting, maintaining a flawless finish.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems that arise during installation, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Verify that the glass design matches the specifications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Inspect finished doors for flaws, and report as necessary, upholding our commitment to excellence.
  • Organize jobs to be dispatched the following morning, ensuring the correct goods are delivered to the right locations.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or repair needs promptly, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling paints, solvents, and other chemicals, prioritizing the well-being of our team members.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, demonstrating a commitment to safety and health.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized, maintaining a productive and efficient workspace.
  • Complete production reports and documentation accurately, ensuring transparency and accountability.
