Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team in Broadstairs. As a key member of our store management team, you'll be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of the store. You'll work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain high store standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales growth.
  2. Assist the Store Manager in maintaining high store standards, including stock control, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
  3. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet business objectives and improve customer satisfaction.
  4. Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to achieve business goals.
  5. Monitor and control store expenses to achieve budget targets.
  6. Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business growth.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  1. Experience in working within the retail sector with a minimum of 1 year's management experience.
  2. Flexibility to work a varied shift pattern across 7 days a week.
  3. Passion for retail and a proven track record of delivering high standards and great results.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and lead by example.
