Job Title: Production Manager

Job Summary:

Omega is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to lead our manufacturing team in driving efficiency and quality. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to improve production processes, manage production plans, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to production teams, driving change and improvement through shift managers and FLMs
  • Develop and execute long-term efficiency improvement plans for the factory
  • Collaborate with engineering to drive Autonomous Maintenance progress
  • Direct line management of production team members, including performance management and absence management
  • Work closely with Site Engineering Manager to ensure asset reliability
  • Own production plans for short- and long-term planning
  • Analyse production metrics for continuous improvement and lead initiatives to enhance performance
  • Ensure effective running of the Production function on a day-to-day basis

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in managing large manufacturing operations, with a focus on driving performance and efficiency
  • Natural leadership skills, with a history of inspiring teams and a commitment to safety and quality
  • Effective communicator with strong problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of production logistics, supply management, and contract negotiation
  • Strong operational & manufacturing leadership experience in the Complex Manufacturing/Food and Drink Manufacturing/FMCG related industry
  • Demonstrated abilities in Analytics, problem solving and team building
