Key Responsibilities:

General Responsibilities:

· Oversee the Food Safety and Quality Management System, ensuring all procedures are effectively implemented.

· Guarantee adherence to SALSA, HACCP, food safety regulations, organic standards, and legal requirements for all products.

· Prepare for and facilitate third-party audits.

· Act as a liaison with clients, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders during audits and inspections.

· Conduct internal audits as per the established schedule.

· Ensure rigorous food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and hygiene standards are maintained.

· Address technical concerns raised by both internal and external parties.

· Collaborate with cross-departmental teams, including production, operations, and procurement, to foster continuous improvement and enhance quality processes.

· Establish and uphold product specifications with suppliers to ensure uniformity.

· Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, non-conformances, and customer feedback, implementing corrective and preventive measures as needed.

· Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are consistently met.

· Stay informed on legislative updates and technical advancements.

· Manage and mentor the Quality Assurance Technician.

Essential Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical or quality management within the FMCG or Food Manufacturing sector.

· Level 3 HACCP certification.

· Level 3 Food Safety certification.

· Qualification in Internal Auditing.

· Degree in a food-related field such as food science or food technology.

· Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage diverse cross-functional teams.

· Proficient in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of engaging effectively with various stakeholders.

· Strong problem-solving, team-building, planning, and decision-making skills.

· Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

· Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

· Proficient in general computer skills, including the MS Office suite.

Desirable Qualifications:

· Level 4 Food Safety certification.

· Level 4 HACCP certification.
