Job Title: High Voltage Service Engineer

Job Summary:

Sulzer Ltd is seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Service Engineer to join our team in Falkirk, United Kingdom. As a key member of our Services team, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services for high and low voltage AC motors and generators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform disassembly, mechanical QA checks, electrical testing, overhaul, repair, assembly, service, and maintenance of high and low voltage AC motors and generators.
  • Install, remove, and replace high voltage motors, generators, and white metal bearings.
  • Execute the dismantling, inspection, and rebuilding of machinery in adherence to pre-established work scopes.
  • Uphold the highest standards of on-site work quality, guaranteeing excellence in every aspect of our service delivery.

Requirements:

  • A recognised apprenticeship or possession of an Electrical / Mechanical engineering qualification.
  • Laser alignment, baker testing, electrical winding, vibration analysis, and on-site balancing skills are desirable, however not essential.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changes in project requirements.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills, establishing trust and confidence with our clients.
