About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Care Assistant to join our team at Search Consultancy. As a Care Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support service users with a variety of care needs, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being.
- Coordinate and allocate work tasks, ensuring that support is delivered effectively and in line with individual care plans.
- Provide hands-on support to individuals with different needs, including those with physical or learning disabilities.
- Undertake assessments and reviews of individual care plans, ensuring that care is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Liaise with families, carers, and external professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care, promoting seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Monitor and report on the progress and well-being of clients, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a similar role within the social care sector, with a strong understanding of care principles and practices.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, demonstrating a high level of knowledge and skills in care and support.
- Experience of working with individuals in a care setting, including those with complex needs and challenging behaviors.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team of care professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to care delivery.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care, with a focus on promoting independence, dignity, and well-being.
