Senior Chartered Town Planner Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Senior Chartered Town Planner to join our client in shaping the future of London's urban landscape.

About the Role:

As a Senior Chartered Town Planner, you will lead and manage complex planning projects, engage with clients and stakeholders, conduct research and analysis, and provide mentorship to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex planning projects from inception to successful completion.
  • Engage with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities to understand needs and drive consensus.
  • Conduct comprehensive research, analysis, and assessments to inform strategic planning decisions.
  • Craft and submit robust planning applications, reports, and appeals.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
  • Stay abreast of evolving planning regulations, policies, and urban development trends in London.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Full membership with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
  • A degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Architecture, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of demonstrable experience in town planning, preferably within London.
  • Proven expertise in leading and delivering successful planning projects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in planning software and GIS tools.
