Join Our Team as a 3rd Line Infrastructure Support Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated 3rd Line Infrastructure Support Engineer to enhance our dynamic team. This role is hybrid, requiring flexibility to travel to various locations as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will take on project leadership and be responsible for:

  • Providing technical escalation and guiding projects across diverse business solutions and technical initiatives.
  • Overseeing business infrastructure and applications both on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues while monitoring and maintaining essential infrastructure.
  • Mentoring junior staff within the support team and assisting in resolving complex issues.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a 3rd line infrastructure support engineer or in a comparable position.
  • Familiarity with MDM solutions such as Intune, JumpCloud, and Mosyle.
  • Experience with CheckPoint and Fortinet firewall technologies.
  • Proficiency in Hyper-V and VMware environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Understanding of networking principles and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Experience with VOIP solutions like 3cx, including SIP/RTSP flow troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, and Puppet.
  • Experience with endpoint security solutions like Sophos, Countercept, and Microsoft Defender.
  • Proficient in using Jira and Confluence for project management.
  • Basic scripting skills in PowerShell, batch, Python, or Bash.
  • ITIL v3 or v4 foundation certification.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
