Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join our team at Future Build Recruitment. As a Setting Out Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting precise setting out activities on civil engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting setting out activities on civil engineering projects, including water sector projects.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and site teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitoring and maintaining quality assurance (QA) standards throughout the project.
  • Prioritizing safety protocols and contributing to the development and implementation of safety measures.
  • Competing QA and safety documents as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in setting out on civil engineering projects, with experience in the water sector being desirable.
  • Proficiency in utilizing setting out equipment and tools.
  • Familiarity with QA procedures and documentation processes.
  • Commitment to maintaining high safety standards on site.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
