Are you an experienced Site Engineer looking for a new opportunity? We are partnering with a highly respected, medium-sized civil engineering contractor, looking for a Setting Out Engineer to contribute to their upcoming project in Whitchurch, Hampshire.


Position: Setting Out Engineer

Project Duration: 17 weeks

Location: Whitchurch, Hampshire

Salary: £300 to £350 per day


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conducting precise setting out activities on a clean water civil engineering project.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and site teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitoring and maintaining quality assurance (QA) standards throughout the project.
  • Prioritising safety protocols and contributing to the development and implementation of safety measures.
  • Competing QA and safety documents as necessary.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience in setting out on Civils projects, experience in the water sector would be desirable
  • Proficiency in utilising setting out equipment and tools.
  • Familiarity with QA procedures and documentation processes.
  • Commitment to maintaining high safety standards on site.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
