Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary: Omega Resource Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our Sales and Operations team. This role is critical to the fulfillment of both UK and International orders, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Document Management: Ensure all paperwork is scanned and uploaded to the system in a timely manner.
  2. Collection Arrangements: Arrange collections for customer returns and coordinate with logistics providers.
  3. Claims and Notifications: Raise claims with couriers for missing or damaged parcels and pallets, and clear transport emails daily.
  4. Supply Chain Calendar: Update the supply chain calendar for collections and deliveries coming in and out of the warehouse.
  5. Transport Requests: Assist with transport requests when assistance is required.
  6. International Logistics: Communicate with international logistics partners daily to ensure all tracking information is up to date.
  7. Shipments and Logistics: Arrange shipments between Adey and 3PL logistics providers, and escalate customer service delivery issues to logistics partners.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  1. Problem-Solving: Ability to proactively problem-solve and think critically.
  2. Shipping Experience: Experience in shipping and import/export.
