We are seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Coventry factory, one of our largest snacks manufacturing sites in the UK. As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and maintaining plant reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical expertise for electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant equipment, including reactive and preventative maintenance.
  2. Undertake tasks that require data analysis and strong diagnostics to identify and act upon underlying root cause issues.
  3. Support site project and change initiatives as appropriate.
  4. Coach and support the manufacturing technician group to develop their technical skills.
  5. Coordinate contractors and contracts, including issuing permits to work, reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
  6. Perform tasks that involve working at height, confined spaces, hot work, and fire investigation/incident support.
Requirements
  1. Indentured time served engineering apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  2. Recognized electrical or mechanical qualification, with strong electro-mechanical aptitude.
  3. Computer literacy.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Multidisciplined engineer with FMCG experience.
  2. Working knowledge of PLC systems, including Allen Bradley and/or Siemens.
  3. Working knowledge of CMMS and SCADA systems and associated applications.
