**Electrical Installation and Commissioning Engineer Role**

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day management of Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation installation projects, providing technical advice and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct risk assessments, design, pricing, procurement, scope of works, and quality assurance of EC&I works.
  • Supervise a team of in-house EC&I technicians and sub-contractors, ensuring work is carried out to a high standard.
  • Manage works and liaise between disciplines, EC&I contractors, and clients.
  • Manage and organize permits, RAMS, ITPs, EC&I installation, ATEX Inspections, and collation of documentation.
  • Conduct quality control checks on completed work to ensure it meets required standards.
  • Take a personal interest in identifying, coaching, and developing key staff.
  • Keep a full and accurate daily site diary, including changes/variations, subcontractors' attendance, and records of work-related discussions.
  • Ensure inspection and test plans are completed as required by the PMP/Specification.

**Requirements:**

  • HNC or equivalent(s) Qualified Electrician with appropriate technical qualifications.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all current regulations and British standards relating to EC&I installations.
  • Good knowledge of relevant practice and legislation.
  • Experience within the Oil and Gas industry or similar.
