Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Renovo Care Group. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their maximum potential and enhance their quality of life.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions for patients with acquired neurological conditions and disabilities. You will work closely with patients and their families to design and deliver effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans, management strategies, clinical goals, and evidence-based therapy plans to address patients' goals and needs.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on strategies and adaptive techniques to enhance independence.
- Manage a caseload independently with supervision from the Lead OT.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including liaising with community teams and equipment providers, and to contribute to the discharge planning.
- Ensure all clinical records are accurate, up-to-date, and maintained to the HCPC and RCOT standard.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Current registration with the RCOT and HCPC with evidence of CPD and continued learning.
- At least 2 years experience in relevant setting with experience in neurology, specialist rehab, and/or complex care.
- Experience in delivering evidence-based practice, following best practice guidelines, using assessment tools and providing outcome measures.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards of professional practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary and/or Interdisciplinary teams.
- Experience of training, supporting, and/or mentoring others.
- Broadly equivalent to NHS Band 6 per annum, pro-rata and based on experience.
